Two More Bucks Make College Decisions

A pair of Bucks from the 2023 and 2024 seasons have made their college decisions over the past week. Kimito Fritz, originally from Tokyo, Japan, will be joining former Greenville United Head Coach Josh Horne at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro for the 2025 Season. He previously had stints at Barton Community College and the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley

Former GUFC Captain Makes Move to Division 1

Luc Achermann-Stanfield, team captain for the Bucks during the 2024 season, recently announced that he has been picked up by the University of Tulsa Men’s Soccer program of the American Athletic Conference. Outside of Greenville United, Luc served as team captain for the Eastern Florida State College of the NJCAA, where he converted 28 goals and assists in their run to the NJCAA Playoff

Greenville United Buck Scores Equalizer in NCAA Playoffs

Abubacarr Fofana, who has played with Greenville United for the past two seasons, banged in a last-minute goal off a corner kick against North Carolina State for the Charlotte 49ers in the first round of the NCAA Playoffs.

GUFC Superfan Victor Ihuka wins 2023 NPSL Supporter of the Season Award

The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is proud to announce that Victor Ihuka, supporter of Greenville United, has earned the Global Scarves 2023 NPSL Supporter of the Season Award, as voted upon by teams, media, and fans nationwide. Victor helped start the Greenville United Buck’s Brigade and has been a key part of the atmosphere. He went out the local community to grow awareness

Greenville United Falls in PKs in NPSL Playoffs

Greenville United’s storybook season came to an end after a loss in overtime to the Alexandria Reds in the semifinals of the NPSL Mid-Atlantic Conference Playoffs.
